Electric rates set to go down
DPUC approved new lower rates for electricity users in CT. CL&P customers should see approx 8% reduction while UI customers will see a more modest 1.5% dip. Read more here.
Connecticut Energy will lower your CL&P or UI electric bill every month for homes and business in CT Energy Discount. Electric rates set to go down will lower your electric bill even more.
It is great that deregulation is working. The constant pressure of companies that compete against each other to drive down prices will drive down all prices over time. I am not a big fan of most government regulation but this seems to be working!
ambit energy just popped up in ct this past week. their rate is competative at $0.0769 kwh. they also give a point system for travel. like your credit card and frequent flier point building up. pretty sweet if you ask me (a frequent traveler and money saver) if your interested check out the web page mnk.joinambit.com
